Open.AI has taken the world by storm in 2023 with the launch of the first Large Language Model of AI with ChatGPT – a service many of us sales people have used to write better emails. A free service for all to use with a paid premium service. When asking ChatGPT what the situation is, here is their response:

Microsoft has now hired Sam Altman, as the head of a new advanced artificial intelligence team after multiple failed attempts to reinstate him as CEO at OpenAI. The hiring was announced today (11.20.2023) by the Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella.
Sam Altman attempted to meet with the board of directors on Sunday to get his job back, however by that time the board of directors had placed Emmitt Shear, the former CEO of Twitch, was made the interim CEO of OpenAI.
The Wall Street Journal reported earlier that Sam Altman had a a conditional ability to return and that required a new board and governance structure – while Altman had been considering starting a new company with former OpenAI colleagues.
